Living Lockdown 3: February - July 2021

The mornings are getting brighter. Hope is in the air but the path out of lockdown runs through spring well into summer. It's marked by optimistic re-opening dates in shop windows, seats and gazebos sprouting outside pubs and cafes, community spaces repurposed as vaccination centres. Out of business signs replaced by workers wanted notices. Leisure is becoming more than a walk in the park. Advertising is still full of health advice but there's now an undercurrent of resistance, imagery from past wars. Wellbeing is on our minds but the impact on everyday lives is still being felt.

Freedom Day is here, but not for everyone.
